Golden Triangle Regional Airport
Constructed in 1971, the Golden Triangle Regional Airport was developed as a joint partnership between Starkville, Columbus, and West Point in northeastern Mississippi. This 1,000-acre airport has an 8,000-foot asphalt runway for the general, military and commercial aviation passengers.
Airport travelers enjoy free Wi-Fi, while waiting for their flight in the terminal. In 2003, a $1.6 million air traffic control tower opened to ensure the safety of the flights at the airport.
