Check it out in September.

Grilled to Perfection

Looking for some seafood? Head to Gulfport this May, as the city boasts some of the best catches of the day bar none during their St. Ann’s Catfish Festival. Perhaps you’ll want the kids to wait a few minutes before hitting the carnival rides and other kids’ games, though.

5. Riverfest

For the music lovers, Riverfest in Vicksburg is a two-day outdoor festival featuring tons of great artists, a huge craft fair, and, of course, an endless supply of colorful food trucks, pop-up food tents, and more, all offering tasty fried festival favorites. Riverfest is held in mid April in downtown V-burg.

6. Bright Lights, Belhaven Nights

Nearly two decades old, the Market Street Festival floods the streets of Columbus with food for two straight days. Hit the festival this May, and enjoy everything from kettle corn and pork skins, to pizza and desserts.
